We are proud to announce the promotion of Shawna Poole as the new captain for the Nacogdoches District. Ten years later, her combination of experiences and passion for conservation led her to become a Texas Game Warden. She graduated from the 59th Texas Game Warden Academy in 2015. She was recognized in 2022 as the Hunter Education Game Warden of the Year and in 2016 she received the Director’s Citation Award.
