The man, from West Yorkshire, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and remains in police custody while enquiries continue. A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "The farmer has been updated and arrangements are now being made for the safe return of the cattle. "North Yorkshire Police takes rural crime extremely seriously and remains committed to protecting our farming and rural communities." The arrest was made by a Rural Task Force Sergeant, police said.
