COVENTRY basketball players Charlotte Moore and Peter Cusack won gold and silver respectively representing England at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Moore won gold as part of England’s 3×3 wheelchair basketball women’s squad following an 18-10 victory against hosts Scotland in the gold medal match. Victory against Canada in the semi-finals set up a gold medal match with Scotland as England remained perfect to win gold. However, England could not maintain their winning run in the gold medal match as Australia avenged their pool-stage defeat.
