Advocate, Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench & District Courts, Joshua Sheqi took the attendance on the Practical Aspects of Legal Practice in the High Court and District Courts, an update received here stated. Berta Tep, Panel Lawyer, Kohima DLSA spoke about the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 and Maintenance Laws. Mhayani Kikon, Panel Lawyer, NSLSA gave the closing remarks and the programme was chaired by Aketoli J Yepthomi, Panel Lawyer, NSLSA. As part of the internship programme with the state services authority, Intern visited Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench and interacted with officials and observed court proceedings. The interns also visited new High Court Complex at Meriema and held interaction with Nagaland Lok Ayukta, Nino Iralu.
