The Governor was addressing officials and civil society representatives during a district review meeting at the DPDB Hall, DC Office Complex at Chümoukedima on July 30. Highlighting the vital role of civil society in governance, community development and maintaining social harmony, he stated that development becomes more meaningful and sustainable when government institutions and civil society work together with a shared sense of responsibility. The Governor said the review meeting provided an opportunity to assess progress, identify challenges and explore practical solutions. The Governor also appealed to civil society leaders to continue promoting peace, unity and constructive public participation. The second session, moderated by SDO (Civil) Chümoukedima Headquarters, Shreyansee Jain, IAS, included presentations by the District Programme Officer (Social Welfare), District Agriculture Officer, Chümoukedima, and PMU (NHIIDCL), Dimapur.
