Mokokchung, July 30 (MExN): The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Mokokchung, observed the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons with an awareness programme at Police Station-I, highlighting the growing threat of human trafficking through online scams, fraudulent job offers and deceptive recruitment practices. District Child Protection Officer Samuel Kapu delivered the introductory address, while T Asula Imsong spoke as the resource person. ASI Limawati urged participants to remain alert to online scams and false promises that often serve as gateways to exploitation. DCPU holds exposure trip for childrenMeanwhile, the DCPU also organised its first one-day educational exposure trip for children from the Care and Support Children Home on Tuesday.
