Narberth Library in Pembrokeshire has marked 10 years of partnership between Pembrokeshire County Council’s Library Service, the Friends of Narberth Library (FONL), and Narberth Town Council. Councillor Elizabeth Rogers, Mayor of Narberth, said: "Narberth Town Council is immensely proud to have played its part in sustaining our library over the past ten years. Under the partnership model, Pembrokeshire County Council supplies furniture, IT equipment, library stock, and six hours of paid staff time each week. The Friends of Narberth Library organise volunteers, who enable the library to remain open for longer hours, while the town council covers premises costs. Narberth Town Council also has its Clerks Office in the library and holds its monthly and Sub-Committee meetings on site.
