Zaza, the first tiger cub ever born in a Welsh zoo and a Sumatran tiger cub, was raised at Manor House Wildlife Park in Pembrokeshire before being relocated to Loro Parque in Tenerife as part of an international conservation programme.
"As part of the European conservation breeding programme, Zaza's move marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
"She's now getting to know fellow Sumatran tiger Lucu, and we're thrilled to see their first introductions have gone so well."
Her birth, to parents Terima and Jaya in May 2024, marked a historic milestone as the first tiger cub born in a Welsh zoo.
Manor House Wildlife Park said: "Watching Zaza grow from Wales' first tiger cub into the confident young tiger she is today has been an incredible privilege.
