Hyderabad: Telangana will fund overseas study tours for government teachers every year, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced on Thursday, during an interaction with participants of the Finland and Germany teacher exposure visit and educational exchange programme. "From now on, we will provide teachers with opportunities to go abroad for study tours," said Revanth Reddy and asked officials to treat each mandal as one cluster in the plan for the next academic year. He also expressed confidence that the Congress government would remain in power until 2034 and he would continue as the Chief Minister until then. "Our vision is for teachers to share their experience with the students," Revanth Reddy said, adding that the government would address the teachers' grievances. Revanth Reddy argued that English alone did not explain China's global position.
