Nalgonda: Revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Thursday stated that the sole aim of Indiramma houses is to ensure that not a single poor family in the state lives in a thatched hut.
Total seven lakh Indiramma houses have been sanctioned to the eligible in the first and second phase of the scheme.
Of these, one lakh houses have been sanctioned for Hyderabad city alone.
Ponguleti exuded confidence that Telangana would emerge as a huts free state in the next two years.
In addition, the state government is providing free travel facility to women in TGSRTC buses, he underlined.
