Hyderabad: Venture capital firm Abyro Capital on Thursday said that it has launched Beacon, a platform focused on investing in the next generation of SpaceTech startups, in partnership with T-Hub. Speaking about Beacon, Vamsi Kora, founder and managing partner, Abyro Capital, said, "India has the talent, the technology and the policy momentum to build globally significant space companies. What is needed are multiple platforms or avenues that are purpose-built for founders at the earliest stages of their journey.” We believe India's next generation of globally competitive SpaceTech companies will emerge from founders solving hard engineering problems, and Abyro Capital is committed to backing them from their very first institutional cheque,” he explained. Each of the founders will go through an eight-week structured interaction with mentors to speed up their technology readiness and market validation.
