Karimnagar:IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu has advised officials to take up rescue and rehabilitation steps on a war footing to help the rain-affected people in Godavarikhani, Peddapalli and Singareni areas. Sridhar Babu asked the officials to remove hurdles in the drainage system and clear the water stranded in various localities of Ramagundam industrial area. He asked the Singareni and NTPC officials to extend their support to the district administration in the rescue and relief operations. The minister asked Ramagundam police to extend support to municipal and revenue officials in the rescue and relief operation in Godavarikhani. Sridhar Babu also asked the officials to take advice from the local public representatives while undertaking relief measures.
