Bayonne University Hospital and the Bayonne Office of aging hosted the first “Lunch and Learn” senior healthcare event where more than 100 people attended. The educational lunch featured physicians from Hudson Regional Health specializing in rheumatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and gastroenterology. They also highlighted information on the wide range of senior services available through the hospital and office of aging. Through this partnership, Bayonne University Hospital and the City of Bayonne are reestablishing the connection between the hospital and the community, seeking to restore trust in the local healthcare system and promote preventative health.
