The Kingswinford & Wall Heath Litter Pick Group, founded and funded by The Saleem Foundation, is celebrating its fifth anniversary after bringing together more than 400 volunteers since it launched. Between them, they have collected thousands of bags of rubbish and uncovered the odd unusual find along the way. Founder, High Sheriff Award winner Shaz Saleem, said he had never imagined the level of backing the group would receive. The group’s next community litter pick will take place on Sunday, August 9, starting at 10am, with the meeting point to be confirmed.
