The King and Queen were introduced to a range of Dorset charities and organisations supporting veterans, domestic abuse survivors and volunteers. Clare Gallie, chief executive of Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, said it was a “very special opportunity” to showcase the charity’s work. Lewis-Manning Hospice Care supports more than 1,450 people each year through free, person-centred care in East Dorset and Purbeck.
