Tom Hayes, the Labour MP for Bournemouth East, has backed Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s proposals to overhaul adult social care in England. Mr Burnham announced that an independent review led by Baroness Louise Casey will now conclude next year, forming the foundation for a National Care Service. "I agree with the Prime Minister that Britain needs a debate free of political point-scoring and scaremongering. The Prime Minister has also launched cross-party discussions to find long-term solutions for care reform. Baroness Casey’s public consultation, the Big Conversation on Care, will gather the views of people across England to inform recommendations for a new National Care Service.
