ReportISLAMABAD : The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued with bearish trend on Thursday, losing 495.00 points, a negative change of 0.28 percent, to close at 175,547.98 points against 176,042.99 points recorded in the previous trading session. The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 711.201 million shares, compared to 574.076 million shares traded on Wednesday, while the traded value slightly increased to Rs25.396 billion from Rs25.369 billion. Trust Brokerage led the volume chart with 176.884 million shares, followed by WorldCall Telecom with 32.314 million shares and Pak Int. Bulk with 32.125 million shares. On the losing side, Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited declined by Rs179.99 to close at Rs25,300.01, while Khairpur Sugar Mills Limited fell by Rs93.79 to Rs1,109.65.
