I’ve continued looking at — and being inspired by — the old columns. Here’s a story inspired by one of my old columns. And so:The first time I saw Meteor Crater was when I was flying to the West Coast after spending a couple of weeks at home on ‘leave’ from the Navy. The pilot announced that if passengers looked out the windows on the righthand side of the aircraft they could spot Meteor Crater. I announced to daughter Julie that Meteor Crater was on my own Bucket List.
