King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, Prince Moulay Rachid, and Prince Moulay Ahmed, chaired a reception Thursday afternoon at the M’diq-Fnideq Prefecture Square (city of M’diq), on the 27th anniversary of the Monarch’s accession to the Throne. At the outset of the ceremony, the King saluted the Moroccan flag while the national anthem was played and a 21-gun salute fired. The Sovereign was then greeted by several Moroccan and foreign dignitaries who came to extend their congratulations on this joyous occasion. His Majesty the King received congratulations from Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch; Speaker of the House of Representatives Rachid Talbi Alami; and Speaker of the House of Councillors Mohamed Ould Errachid. The Monarch was subsequently greeted by FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
