Under the leadership of Mary Joyer, Waldoch Farm has grown into one of the most beloved agricultural destinations in the region, operating Minnesota's longest-running pick-your-own farm. I am the owner-operator of my family’s century farm, Waldoch Farm Inc. My main role is leading my two siblings, three of my sons, and more than 60 seasonal employees throughout each year. The garden center was started in my parents' backyard, where we grew vegetable starts for our produce farm. Waldoch Farm hosts around 5,000 kids on the farm each year from the YMCA and local schools. Some of the classes I taught for this event were Flower Production, Garden Center Retail Philosophy, Garden Center - Creating Containers for Retail and Display, and No Question Left Unanswered.
