SUPERIOR — A proposal filed July 30 with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin could help Superior Water, Light and Power launch a new customer assistance program for low-income consumers. The Water Residential Assistance Program (WRAP) would complement the company’s Arrears Management Program (AMP) as SWL&P advances water infrastructure improvements. ADVERTISEMENTIf approved, WRAP would provide monthly water bill credits of up to $20 to income-qualified residential customers who participate in the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program. Annually, $100,000 would be available to fund water assistance for a total contribution of $1 million.
