Golf outing to raise funds for firefighters battling job-related cancer

Shield 23 Foundation is a local, all-volunteer organization that raises funds for and gifts funds to firefighters battling cancer and the families who stand beside them.
The foundation’s golf outing draws firefighters from communities including Gurnee, North Chicago, Round Lake, and Wauconda to celebrate hometown heroes and pay it forward.
