Hitch joined the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office in 2016 after completing specialized facility dog training through Duo Dogs Inc. in St. Louis. “Hitch was a wonderful friend and partner to so many people in this office,” Lake County State’s Attorney Eric Rinehart said. The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office extends its gratitude to Duo Dogs Inc. for training Hitch and making his years of service possible.
