Officer-involved shooting under investigation in Lehigh Township, police say

Pennsylvania State Police said they were investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Lehigh Township, Northampton County, on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the PSP, the shooting occurred after Lehigh Township police officers responded to a domestic incident at around 3:51 p.m. at the 4100 block of Heritage Lane.
WATCH HERE WATCH HEREDuring the domestic incident, which involved a 49-year-old man and 71-year-old woman, officers became involved in a confrontation with the 49-year-old, according to the PSP.
A taser was deployed by the officers and then the man was shot by the officers.
The shooting is under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police Troop M, along with the Northampton County District Attorney's Office.
