The study involved more than 150 participants and highlights persistent issues facing rural communities, including limited policing resources and gaps in crime prevention and reporting. The research was funded through the Cymru Wledig LPIP Rural Wales project and forms part of an eight-year effort to track rural crime trends in Dyfed-Powys and across Wales. Dyfed-Powys Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn said: "Rural crime can have a devastating effect on communities, businesses and families. "This report provides a crucial insight into attitudes towards policing and crime across rural communities in Wales."
