Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday said Pakistan’s current governance structure had become ineffective and was no longer capable of meeting the country’s growing challenges. Speaking at the Pakistan Economic Summit in Islamabad, he stressed the need for comprehensive administrative reforms, including the establishment of new administrative units. Naqvi said the existing system had failed to deliver solutions to the country’s problems. He warned that without deep structural reforms, Pakistan would continue to struggle with the same issues for years to come. “If the present system remains unchanged, we will still be discussing these same challenges a decade from now,” he said, underscoring the urgency of overhauling the administrative framework.
