Kris Bowler was driving behind the van into Saxmundham on the B1121 south entrance when the incident happened at 4.45pm on July 21 outside a carpet shop. The video shows an object rolling in the road about ten seconds in, though the number plate or any logos on the vehicle cannot be seen. The mirror appeared to belong to a white transit van parked on the left hand side of the road and Mr Bowler was hoping to get in touch with the owner of the parked van. Mr Bowler believes it was a BT van and contacted the company. He said he had been the victim of a similar incident in September when a car broke off his wing mirror, causing damage that cost him £600 to fix.
