Nicky Houghton, 49, of Normanston Drive, Lowestoft, is accused of making multiple nuisance calls in the early hours of Tuesday, July 21, to Suffolk Constabulary’s Contact and Control Room. He was arrested at 3.10am that day and later charged with persistently making use of public communication networks to cause annoyance. Houghton has since been released on bail and is due to appear at Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court on August 12.
