Britten House in Lowestoft, the birthplace of Benjamin Britten, is on the market for £685,000 through Christie & Co. Colin and Ann Ceresa, who have owned Britten House since 2006, said: "We have loved living at Britten House, the business exceeded any expectations we had when we opened. It is believed that some of Britten’s earliest music was composed at the house, which now operates as an award-winning guest house. "Furthermore, Lowestoft remains a popular family holiday and short-break destination with excellent road and rail connections to London and the Midlands. "Trade can be further enhanced with the annual First Light Festival held during the summer solstice that can attract up to 30,000 visitors and the Latitude music festival."
