The company said reports submitted through the new “Seems like AI slop” button will improve machine-learning systems that identify low-quality AI content, allowing LinkedIn to reduce the distribution of such posts in content recommendations. As part of the overhaul, LinkedIn is retiring its AI-assisted “Enhance your post” feature and replacing it with a proofreading tool designed to improve grammar without rewriting users’ content. Additional updates include private feedback for users whose posts are perceived as inauthentic, broader access to profile verification and new controls over unwanted company page comments.
