Hōkai Nuku Welcomes Progress On Northland Corridor ProjectHōkai Nuku has welcomed today's announcement that Financial Close has been achieved for the Northland Corridor Warkworth to Te Hana – Ara Tūhono project, describing it as an important milestone for the region and a demonstration of what can be achieved through genuine partnership between Government, mana whenua and industry. Ms Rata-MacDonald says Hōkai Nuku welcomed the opportunity to continue working closely with Northway as construction commences. "When infrastructure is delivered in true partnership with mana whenua, it creates opportunities that extend well beyond the road itself. "Hōkai Nuku remains committed to working collaboratively with Northway, NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi and all project partners to ensure the Northland Corridor becomes an exemplar of partnership, innovation and cultural stewardship." Hōkai Nuku has been contracted by Waka Kotahi to provide specialist advice for the projects, and the relationship as Treaty partners has been formalised in a relationship agreement.
