Island families, residents, educators and community leaders had the opportunity to meet Millins, learn about his background and hear his vision for the future of the K-8 school. He explained that his goals for the school are centered on four essential areas: academics, safety, community and family. Millins emphasized the vital role that the community will play in the school’s continued success. Also at the event, attendees learned about ways that they can support the school through the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), The Sanibel School Fund and volunteer opportunities.
