The annual event will be taking place on Saturday, August 15 from 10am and will see Dalton Road once again transformed into a high-speed racecourse. Each team needs to be made up of a minimum of five people and there is a discounted registration fee for charities and town centre businesses. A spokesperson from Barrow BID said: "Each year we loan out our karts to local charities and community groups, giving them the opportunity to compete in the race and fundraise. "With a couple of karts left this year, if you know a local charity or community group who would like to take part, email operations@barrowbid.co.uk for more information."
