Instead of spending the school summer holidays on days out, their four children spent much of the break exploring every corner of the pub while their parents tackled the huge task of renovating it. "The kids spent most their summer holidays here and, although it was hard work, they’ve made memories that will stay with them forever." Adam added: "What makes us proudest isn’t the decorating or the renovation itself – it’s what the pub has become.
