Unusually dry ground conditions at this year's music event could stir up airborne dust, leading to symptoms often mistaken for hangovers or exhaustion, according to pharmacists. One of the UK’s leading online pharmacies, Chemist4U, has cautioned that coughing, sore throats, chest tightness, and wheezing may actually be caused by inhaling dust rather than just a lack of sleep or alcohol. Ian Budd, lead prescribing pharmacist at Chemist4U, said: "Breathing in dust at a festival can cause a range of symptoms like coughing, a scratchy throat, a runny nose, tightness in the chest, and wheezing. "When festival sites become dry and dusty, every movement of people across the grounds kicks particles into the air. He said: "Most of what people feel after a dusty festival is your body's normal response, clearing itself out.
