Crowds flock to Ulverston and North Lonsdale show to celebrate rural life

Organised by North Lonsdale Agricultural Society, it was the 129th edition of the popular South Cumbrian celebration of rural life.
Days such as the Ulverston and North Lonsdale Show are a great chance for the rural communities across Cumbria and the North West to showcase why they are so important to British culture at large.
For example, father and son duo, Ethan and Archie Kelly, from Ulverston, were showing their pedigree Suffolk sheep at the event.

Speaking towards the end of the day at the showground, Simon Case, Ulverston and North Lonsdale Show chairman, said: “I am quite happy with how the day has gone.
