BN chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said BN and PN will discuss the menteri besar candidate if they win the Negeri Sembilan election. TAMPIN : Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has thanked PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang for directing party supporters to vote for BN candidates in the Negeri Sembilan election. Zahid, who is also Umno president, said BN had likewise instructed its supporters to vote for PAS and Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidates in other seats. Last night, Hadi said he had instructed PAS members to support BN candidates to ensure the BN-PN pact succeeds. In this Saturday’s Negeri Sembilan election, BN is contesting 25 seats while PN is contesting 11 following an electoral understanding between the two coalitions to avoid overlapping seats.
