An e-scooter rider was seriously injured following a crash in Waterloo on Thursday morning.
Police responded to a reported collision involving an e-scooter and a Toyota vehicle on Northfield Dr. West shortly after 6:30 a.m.
The 19-year-old Kitchener man on the e-scooter was ejected and transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Northfield Dr. West was closed to eastbound traffic between Parkside Dr. and Conestogo Rd.
UPDATE\Northfield Drive West in Waterloo has reopened after emergency services responded to a collision involving a e-scooter and a motor vehicle.
