Few franchises span several decades or boast such extensive world-building, and even fewer can make the leap from the Cold War espionage of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater to the future wars of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Not that this stops Konami from trying, especially with Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is out on August 27th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
