FARGO – Jaxon Kolpin tossed a two-hit complete-game shutout to keep The Jamestown Post 14 Eagles alive in the 2026 North Dakota American Legion Class AA State Tournament.
Kolpin and the Eagles ended Williston Post 37 Keybirds' season with the 6-0 win on Wednesday, July 29, at Jack Williams Stadium.
ADVERTISEMENTBack on July 9, Williston starting pitcher Ashton Nickloff tossed his own two-hit complete-game shutout against the Eagles at Jack Brown Stadium.
Bennet Goehner brought the Eagles' lead to 6-0 with an RBI double in the bottom of the fourth inning.
After allowing the single, Kolpin only needed seven pitches to retire the side to complete the shutout and the 6-0 victory for Jamestown.
