FARGO — The golf game of North Dakota State senior receiver Mekhi Collins is pretty good these days, with the ability to break 80 in the occasional round during the summer.
Nobody is more anxious to do that than Collins, who has battled injuries and a top-heavy depth chart in his first four years with the Bison.
“He’s faster than what you might think, he’s really smart, really reliable and he’s a really good friend.
At 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, Collins has the size to match any receiver in the FBS Mountain West Conference.
“I feel like with the size, especially moving up a division, we have some small, quick guys that get to point A to B quick but we don’t have too much size,” Collins said.
