After losing Game 1 of the Ontario Series Lacrosse semifinal to the North Stars on a penalty shot, the result of an illegal substitution call, the Merchants had revenge on their mind. The Merchants secured a dominant 14-5 victory inside the Iroquois Park Sports Centre thanks to a six-goal night from Landen Sinfield. Riley Thompson, Jordan McMillen, Michael Blaymires, Cohen Jennings and Dawson McKenzie scored for Owen Sound while Jake McNabb assisted on all four goals. The best-of-five series is now tied 1-1, with game three on Saturday night at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre.
