A mass of uninvited overland campers has landed at an unlikely “campsite” – a public library in a small southern coastal town in Maine. York Library Director Michelle Sampson said when she got to work the parking lot was filled with pickup truck “overland” campers. “They were traveling as a group and one of them said they found it online on IOverlander,” Sampson told WGME-TV’s Brad Rogers. “Overlander never reached out to confirm with us whether we were a campsite,” Sampson added. The library now has locked on its outdoor outlets and no camping signs on order for its parking lot.
