(Worthy News) – Senior U.S. intelligence officials have concluded that China’s alleged acquisition of American voter-registration data falls within the government’s definition of foreign election interference, according to information released Thursday by the White House.
According to the administration, U.S. intelligence agencies first learned during the 2020 election cycle that China had obtained voter information involving millions of Americans across at least 18 states.
The White House further said Beijing assigned a specialized unit to exploit the acquired information.
