Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), is unhappy about the leadership crisis in the OK Movement, according to Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s spokesman, Ladipo Johnson. He acknowledged that there were disagreements within the movement but said the crisis would not affect its plans ahead of the 2027 general election. He described the situation as a temporary distraction and urged supporters not to allow it to create divisions within the proposed Obi-Kwankwaso alliance. Johnson advised members of the movement to avoid actions that could undermine efforts to build a strong political platform. Johnson also revealed that Obi had been informed about the situation and was unhappy with it.
