Daily Post Nigeria
President Bola Tinubu has said that the problems in the Sahel region, comprising Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali are contributing to the upsurge of insecurity in Nigeria.
Tinubu stated that the terrorists who carried out the abduction of the Oriire schoolchildren and teachers wanted the Federal Government to release their members who were already arrested.
“They committed murder by killing one of the teachers, and we were ready to ‘finish’ with members of their families.

“That’s why we must enhance the capacity of the forest guards and create state police,” Tinubu said.
