Most recently, Maria oversaw the pre-opening of Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana, also in the Dominican Republic. Throughout her career, she has overseen luxury resorts, hotel openings, repositionings, and complex operations for globally recognized brands, including Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Millennium Hotels & Resorts, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Karisma Hotels & Resorts, Rotana Hotels, InterContinental Hotels Group, Le Méridien, and Sheraton. Her experience leading luxury and wellness-focused resorts makes her well positioned to guide the continued success of Cayo Levantado Resort.
