Antigua and Barbuda will host young leaders from across the Commonwealth in November for a forum focused on strengthening youth participation in leadership and shaping pathways to shared prosperity. The Commonwealth Youth Forum will be held from Nov. 2-4 at the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus in St. John’s, alongside the 2026 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. The forum, under the theme “Investing in Youth Agency — Co-Creating Pathways Towards Shared Prosperity,” will allow participants to explore how young people can help build a more resilient Commonwealth. The Antigua and Barbuda gathering will follow a special edition of the Commonwealth Leadership Series held in London on July 24, where more than 40 young leaders discussed the demands of leadership in a rapidly changing world. Deputy Commonwealth Secretary-General Tania Baumann said young people must be given access, opportunities, practical support and genuine influence in decision-making.
