Tom Holland is wearing the Spidey suit one more time for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but is aware that it won’t be happening forever. In a new interview, the actor has revealed there’s a plan for the superhero as Holland transitions out of the role. “There’s a whole plan that we have been working on for, I would say, since we finished Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Holland said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. It’s gonna change for sure, but I have a really clear vision to the passing on of the baton, and I think it’s really exciting.” In another interview, Holland even named Adolescence actor Owen Cooper as a possible successor, telling Esquire UK, “Owen Cooper would be awesome.
