TIFTON – The Tift County Board of Education recently approved a price package for a major upgrade to Tift County High School’s athletic facilities. The high school recently added an athletic pavilion and is currently constructing a new middle school, expected to be ready by the 2027-28 school year. The construction of the new athletic field house is scheduled to begin in the fall, while the renovations to the existing field house will begin at the end of the fall sports season.
